The 11th Annual Sellwood-Moreland Monster March™ has come to a close, but it was wonderful, as usual. What a turnout! If you find yourself missing it too terribly and wishing you had some small something, some little (TODDLER sized, really) souvenir to cling to, we might be able to help out.
TODDLER Ts AND TOTES ARE STILL AVAILABLE
Due to overwhelming demand the adult & youth tees are sold out!
There are still toddler t's available in 2T & 4T in all three colors along with some totes.
The shirts and totes are available for $10. They make great holiday gifts & keep the Monster March going year-round, besides giving funds directly to Llewellyn, Duniway, and Sellwood to fund teaching positions! You can also email us at morelandmonstermarch@gmail.com to place an order. We can discuss pick up & delivery!
THANK YOU
A huge thanks to Haggis McBaggis for displaying the t-shirts, selling them for us, and donating back to the schools!
SHARE YOUR PHOTOS
If you have any great crowd or costume photos, please send them along to morelandmonstermarch@gmail.com & we will try to post some of them!

The parade will start at Llewellyn Elementary (6301 SE 14th Ave) school at 3pm on Sunday, October 30th, and be lead, as it has since the beginning, by our local fire engine! You can view the route here.
The Sellwood-Moreland Monster March was created by Kathy Diamond and Lynn Van Horn (with a lot of help from Liz Cerabino-Hess, the former, former owner of Haggis McBaggis!) in the aftermath of 9/11 and has become a staple of the Sellwood-Moreland Community. The march is sponsored by the Sellwood-Westmoreland Business Association and given a face (or faces) by Gary Hirsch (http://doodlehouse.com), to whom we offer many thanks. We'd also like to thank the Sellwood Marching Band under the direction of Dan Arrayan as they have participated in 9 of the parades, as well as our local Fire Department who have never missed a parade!
We were delighted to have Sweet Pea's handing out balloons last year & are thrilled to learn that they will be at it again.
The March has always been about the community, with a special emphasis on our schools. True to Kathy Diamond's original vision, any profits made by the sale of the official Hirsch-designed T-shirts, or other merchandise, will be given to the foundations of our neighborhood schools: Llewellyn Elementary, Duniway Elementary and Sellwood Middle. Please feel encouraged to support these foundations by giving at thinkschools.org.
If you or your business would like to get involved or if you have any questions, please email morelandmonstermarch@gmail.com.
